The Illini

I think my Illini are going 7-5 this year. What a disappointing season after a 9-3 rose bowl trip last year. Motor City Bowl, Champs Sports Bowl, and the Insight bowl are the only possible bowl games.

Big game picks

4 Oklahoma over 16 Kansas
20 Michigan State over 12 Ohio State
3 Penn State over Michigan(BLOWOUT ALERT)
1 Texas over 11 Missouri(just barely, I see this as a good ole big 12 shootout)
13 LSU over South Carolina
10 Georgia over 22 Vanderbilt
15 Boise State over Hawaii

What do you guys think? By the way, if you know anybody that wants a good read on college football, please send them here!

My upset pick of the week

I think Navy has a shot at beating Pittsburgh. My reason for this is the Navy QB, whos name I wont even try to pronounce. The man is a beast! Honestly, I cant wait to see this game(ill watch it once im back from the Illinois Indiana game, GO ILLINI) on espn360. Watch this happen: Pittsburgh's stud back gets shut down. Navy's QB passes all over Pitt.

Final Score Prediction:
Navy over Pitt 31-23.

My thoughts on the 08 college football season so far

Wow Alabama has really surprised me so far this year! A great start to what will in my opinion be a championship season. My Illini have been a disappointment this year, but not without showing some bright spots. Starting QB Juice Williams has had an amazing season so far, but he just hasnt done enough to lead the Illini efficiently. Clemson has been even more of a disappointment to there fans. They had what I thought was a BCS championship caliber team... what happened? I would guess their Oline has probably brought them down. Its certainly not their HBs!

My projected top 10:
1. Alabama
2. Texas Tech
3. Penn State
4. Texas
5. LSU
6. Missouri
7. BYU
8. Florida
9. Oklahoma
10. Ohio State
